Compare product, inspection, packaging and shipping costs before selecting a China sourcing or dropshipping quote.
Compare quotes on the same basis
Use the same product specification, quantity, packaging and destination for every quote. Comparing only unit prices can hide important differences in service scope.
Your quote checklist
Record product price; supplier-to-warehouse freight; receiving or storage charges if applicable; inspection fee and scope; packaging cost; picking and packing; international shipping; service fees; and tax or duty assumptions. Ask which items are included rather than assuming a charge applies.
Ask about shipping assumptions
Confirm the packaged weight and dimensions, route, tracking availability, estimated handling and transit time, and remote-area or address-correction surcharges where applicable.
Ask about failure costs
Document the process for defects, replacements, lost parcels and returns. Ask what evidence is required and when a claim must be raised.
